Correction process
ProfileMD prioritizes accurate professional information and physician-controlled publication. This page explains the correction workflow without activating a form or publishing unconfirmed contacts.
ProfileMD is intended to present accurate public professional information, clear approval status, and clinic-approved access guidance.
Corrections may be needed when public details change, source information is incomplete, or a physician or clinic wants to refine published wording.
Physicians may request changes to their own public profile information.
Authorized clinic representatives may request updates to clinic-owned details, approved links, and operational pathway descriptions.
Public users may flag a possible factual inaccuracy, but that does not guarantee an immediate change.
Correction requests may require identity verification or confirmation of authority before any public change is made.
ProfileMD may need to confirm whether the physician, clinic, or another source controls the specific detail being challenged.
The corrections process is for public professional information, access details, and similar factual issues.
Clinical-care disputes, treatment concerns, patient records, appointment complaints, and other medical matters are outside scope.
Once contact ownership and review responsibilities are finalized, the correction path is intended to follow a five-step workflow.
Important boundary
This correction route is for factual public-profile issues only. It is not for treatment concerns, patient-record disputes, or any patient-specific communication.
ProfileMD aims to correct factual issues responsibly, with identity and authority checks where needed. A public correction form and final correction contact details will be added before launch.
Source review matters. Authority may need confirmation. No active form is published yet.
